Resilience and Thriving Facilitator Certificate Course

This course provides learners with a system that integrates the Six Dimensions of Wellness Model and the NWI Wellness Promotion Competency Model with the concepts of stress, resilience, and thriving. 

To earn a Certificate as a Resilience & Thriving Facilitator, and be able to offer the “Resilience & Thriving: The Secret Power of Stress” training to others, you must successfully complete all elements of the Facilitator Certificate course, in this order:

  1. A 30-minute pre-recorded course preview video in the NWI Online Learning Portal
  2. Online Zoom meeting led by Dr. Joel Bennett 
  3. 30-question online exam in NWI Online Learning Portal  + online course evaluation

Empowered Health Consciousness Facilitator Course Requirements

Health consciousness is an essential element for thriving. In this course, you'll learn a proactive solution aimed at helping others to recognize when they are off-track and to identify health-conscious alternatives to unhealthy behaviors such as the misuse of prescription drugs. Healthy alternatives across the Six Dimensions of Wellness (physical, emotional, spiritual, occupational, social, and intellectual) are presented. This course is based on an evidence-informed program developed by Organizational Wellness and Learning Systems (OWLS), with funding from the U.S. Department of Health (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency, SAMHSA). 

To earn a Certificate as an Empowered Health Consciousness Facilitator, and be able to offer the “Empowered Health Consciousness” training to others, you must successfully complete all elements of the Facilitator Certificate course, in this order:

  1. A 35-minute pre-recorded course preview video in the NWI Online Learning Portal
  2. Online Zoom meeting led by Dr. Joel Bennett 
  3. 30-question online exam in NWI Online Learning Portal  + online course evaluation
